Philharmonic Opening Night
The New-York Philharmonic used to put out a deluxe, six-color Gala Magazine with the opening, in September, of every season. I did three year’s worth. Kurt Masur was so pleased with the issue about his 70th Birthday Issuethat he autographed me a copy (with a silver sharpie!). Each issue had some wonderful content as well as the usual donors and thanks. It was a great pleasure.
